What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Provide service for inbound pharmacy phone calls and place outbound patient refill calls
Proactively coordinate medication refills, including data entry and pharmacy claim adjudication
Answer, resolve, and triage inbound inquiries from patients, providers, and pharmacy team members
Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists and/or clinicians as appropriate
Identify trends, resolve problems, and recommend improvements to operational issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, particularly in managing refills and adjudicating claims
State registration as a pharmacy technician is required; national certification as a CPhT is strongly preferred
High school diploma or GED is required
Strong interpersonal communication skills and exceptional phone skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word; ability to learn other programs quickly
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience working with clinical care teams or in specialty pharmacy
Ability to adapt to unique models and tools used by the employer
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Energetic and highly motivated team player with strong communication skills
Experience working remotely and managing distractions effectively
