Position Summary River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented National Business Development Representative to serve as the liaison between the facilities, the community, and referring agencies to increase awareness of the hospital’s specialized treatment programs to professionals across the United States. The National Business Development Representative is directly responsible for creating demand for the facility’s services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods, including extensive travel. Key objectives will be to inform, educate, and communicate our programs and services to those who treat Eating Disorders, trauma, active military and veterans.

Responsibilities In collaboration with the Director of Business Development and the Business Development Team, the Business Development Representative presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community. The Representative implements the facility’s strategic sales plan, enhances the brand and image, effectively manages assigned territory and accounts, and works to achieve departmental and facility business development goals. The Representative must demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication in a fast‑paced environment. In conjunction with community resources, the Representative maintains relationships with outside agencies, private practitioners, insurers, and family members, and participates in county and regional meetings of public mental health providers. All duties are performed in accordance with the facility’s mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Human Services field. Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Extensive national travel required. Travel Monday - Thursday three weeks a month; work from home on Friday. Work from home one week a month to plan, schedule, follow‑up and conduct Zoom calls.
