part-time (15–30 hours/week) , on-site role with the opportunity for
growth into a full-time
position for a Sports Performance Coach located in Sarasota/ Lakewood Ranch, FL.
We are seeking
energetic, positive, and high-character individuals
who genuinely enjoy working with people and athletes of all ages. The Sports Performance Coach will deliver individualized and group training programs focused on athletic performance, strength and conditioning, and sport-specific development.
Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching athletes at all stages of development, from youth through high school, collegiate, and professional levels. The coach will deliver clear, constructive feedback, collaborate closely with fellow coaches, and contribute to a high-performance training environment that is competitive, welcoming, and designed to challenge and elevate every athlete.
This role is open to both early-career coaches and experienced professionals who value teamwork, continuous learning, and positive culture.

Coaching & Technical Skills
Proficiency in athletic performance training, strength & conditioning, and movement fundamentals
Strong coaching ability with the skill to deliver clear, constructive, and age-appropriate feedback
Demonstrated ability and genuine desire to coach athletes across all developmental levels, from youth to advanced competitors
Experience
Minimum of 1–2 years of coaching or hands-on experience (Internship, private facility, collegiate, or team-based experience welcomed)
Professional Qualities
Positive attitude, high energy, and strong character
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
Effective organizational and time-management abilities
Education & Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Coaching, or a related field (completed or in progress)
Relevant certifications such as CSCS, NASM, or equivalent (preferred, not required)
Mindset & Values
Passion for long-term athlete development and a genuine desire to help others succeed
