Are you a gearhead with a passion for motorcycles and cars? Andrews Products is looking for a skilled customer support technician, preferably someone who has worked on motorcycles in a HD service department or aftermarket shop, who is looking to move from wrenching to helping others wrench. Representative will be responsible for fielding customer tech/support calls, attending shows/races, verifying cam profiles, and managing customer RMAs.
Responsibilities include:
Day to day customer calls and requests for information Walk customers through questions about products (high performance cams & gears) Assist with installation questions Assist with reverse engineering and customer service for projects that come into the shop Knowledge and experience installing, tuning, specifying camshafts for Harley Davidson Motorcycles Knowledge and experience installing and troubleshooting Harley Davidson transmission gears General mechanical knowledge for motorcycles, specifically V Twins, some Metric bikes as well General automotive camshaft knowledge around push rod V8 engines Ability to answer phone calls and tech questions Working with engineering to communicate customer requirements to and from engineering and management Working with customers for custom applications: cams, gears, one off prototypes Measuring camshafts using standard measuring equipment as well as specialized measuring equipment Ability to speak to customers in a public setting, trade shows, open houses, race tracks, etc Knowledge and exposure to Microsoft Office products, some ERP experience for tracking items Ability to work independently, using resources available
