Personal Lines Customer Service Representative

Job Description
The primary function of this position is to provide service to our personal lines customers. The Account Manager will be responsible for processing endorsements, taking payments, answering phones, answering coverage questions, reviewing and binding policies, etc. Representatives will be required to respond to client inquiries via emails and phone contact.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service.
Immediately greet all customersentering the officein a friendly and helpful manner.
Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
Return all phone messages promptly.
Handle all incoming claim calls from customers.
Answer coverage questions.
Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
Foster strong relationships with customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
Be outstanding at relationship building.
Process customer policy change requests.
Review and bind policies.
Document each customer contact in agency management system.
Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
Take premium payments from customers.
Treat each customer contact as a cross- and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
Requirements
Experience in the insurance industry
Active property and casualty insurance agent/broker license
Experience with an agency management system
Must live within 15 miles of the office
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful, and be coachable
Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up
Confident, self-starter who works well independently
Professional phone etiquette
Career minded vision
Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations
Workwell with other employees and be a team player with a positive attitude
Strong work ethic and leadership skills
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Pay Range The anticipated pay range for this position is $80,000- $90,000 annually. We understand salary is an important factor in a job search, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel that your desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
