Job Summary
The Marketing & Events Assistant helps keep the Hi Tech Motorcars marketing team running smoothly across all dealerships. This role supports vendor coordination, brand asset upkeep, manufacturer‑required marketing tasks, scheduling, and event preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and excited to grow—ready to contribute to a fast‑paced luxury environment and support key marketing initiatives across the team.
Duties / Responsibilities
Maintain and update vendors lists for events and marketing initiatives.
Complete monthly and quarterly marketing tasks required by our manufacturers, including downloading assets, completing training and submitting social media compliance items.
Schedule meetings with potential new vendors and community partners for marketing consideration.
Support the Marketing & Events Specialist in planning and executing experiential events (including pre-event, on-site support, and poste event follow-up)
Manage department calendars, event timelines, and dealership-level marketing schedules.
Manage the dealership group’s headshot roster across individual and group-level websites.
Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily workflow across the marketing team.
Assist with social media posting and engagement for the dealer group.
Capture photos and video content at events for use in marketing and social platforms.
Required Skills / Abilities
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in workflow execution.
Familiarity with Excel and general comfort with using all Microsoft Office applications.
Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
Professional and clear verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborative working style mindset.
Travel Position is onsite at the dealership but will require some local offsite travel to company events within the Austin or surrounding cities.
Education and Experience
Valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or coursework in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
1-2 years of administrative, marketing, events or customer service experience preferred (internships or part‑time roles count).
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content tools highly preferred (e.g., CapCut, Lightroom, Canva, Photoshop)
Previous experience using social media platforms required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds for event set up (e.g., signage, marketing materials)
Good hand-eye coordination.
Prolonged periods of standing.
Position may work in an office but also outside for events
