AI is a Meta priority. árbol and sales teams are working on integrating automation through AI to provide guidance to our advertisers. This is a very complex and new area that requires close collaboration with product developers to integrate our existing guidance systems into our new tools, in alignment with our overall guidance unification strategy by bringing the unique perspectivejata and needs of our advertisers. This individual is expected to understand our ad guidance and advertiser needs and help build the integration strategy for AI across our channels. This role will be part of the Marketing Science team focusing on supporting our global small businesses by better understanding how these businesses can grow using our platforms through data and science. The team is made up of highly quantitative measurement individuals with a broad set of backgrounds. This position is highly analytical with a background in digital advertising effectiveness and research methods, alongside an understanding of how things work. The person in this role will be responsible for building strategies and proactive initiatives executed globally in partnership with our various channels. They will identify opportunities to develop and refine different treatments and support the go‑to‑market strategy for initiatives focused on driving value for our advertisers. They will work in a highly analytical team executing key advertising and measurement research projects intended to deliver strategies and insights that will help small businesses grow. Marketing Science Consultant Responsibilities
Design proactive programs and treatments (research & analytics initiatives or other go‑to‑market strategies) that can help small businesses onboard to advertising and grow. Drive advertiser adoption of marketing best practices and products to ensure successful onboarding to advertising. Identify research & analytics initiatives that create a clear understanding of how Marketing Science can help small business segments grow. Work closely with sales, product, and other cross‑functional teams to drive direct impact on small business marketing strategy. Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in creative ways to stakeholders and partners. Build processes that scale ad‑effectiveness research initiatives. Advocate for small businesses with other research and product teams to ensure that solutions are designed with businesses of all shapes and sizes in mind. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in a quantitative field such as consulting, market research, or media research. Experience working with large datasets and using SQL or similar tools for data extraction and manipulation. Experience communicating complex concepts to non‑technical audiences. Direct experience scoping and executing research projects with clients and/or cross‑functional stakeholders. Experience in applied research with focus areas such as media consumption, consumer behavior, or marketing effectiveness. Experience with digital advertising measurement methods and technologies. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with structured and unstructured data sets, statistical software such as R, SPSS, SAS, as well as data extraction tools such as Hive and/or SQL. Knowledge of dynamics and structure for sales teams. Understanding of the current media landscape and challenges small business advertisers face. Public Compensation
