Remote Position

This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

Supporting the definition, development, documentation, and implementation of sales & license management processes required to launch and grow John Deere’s advanced technology portfolio.

Develop knowledge and understanding of Solutions as a Service offerings, policies and procedures.

Provide product/service information and respond to customer and dealer questions, acting as a first point of contact for resolving queries and enrollment activities.

Providing exceptional service to customers and dealers on the telephone as you navigate various conversations and gather enrollment information.

Your Responsibilities Continued

Using complex multilevel scripts and processes to clarify customer information and assist them as needed.

Managing contract, legal entity and tax rules conversations.

Create follow up actions and enter relevant information into various internal systems after each contact ensuring that quality data is gathered.

Executing processes to validate completeness and effectiveness to enable broader application through shared or dedicated service teams.

Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.

Training shared service teams on new processes, acting as a resource to troubleshoot/support complex situations, and monitoring performance to ensure customer satisfaction (internal, dealers, and end user customers) and business results.

Support customers with informative and sales-focused interactions to promote products and services.

Preference is for candidates to work onsite in Des Moines, Iowa, however remote work may be considered for a strong candidate.

What Skills You Need

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including demonstrated ability to manage complex conversations in real time.

Strong independent judgement, problem solving skills, and ability to make timely decisions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products specifically Excel and One Note.

Comfortable with navigating through diverse tools that may not be intuitive and have complex interfaces.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Ability to work with extensive amounts of data while maintaining a strong emphasis on details.

Ability to adapt to rapidly and frequently changing processes.

Understanding of the John Deere dealer sales channel.

Ability to work Monday - Friday 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Central.

What Makes You Stand Out

Experience working directly with Customers and Dealers.

Demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities and solve problems.

Knowledge/experience with Operation Center.

Ability to work effectively across product families, functions, and business units.

Understanding of revenue recognition principles for software licensing models.

Cross functional work experience in multiple areas, i.e., product management, sales & marketing, legal, data, accounting, order fulfillment, etc.

Knowledge of go to market strategies including licensing of advanced software for precision technologies.

Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

University Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business, Management, Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences or Agri Business, Marketing discipline
