Director of Development & Communications
Lead fundraising and communications rooted in relationship, joy, and belonging.
We are seeking a creative and thoughtful leader to guide our development and communications efforts.
This role stewards the relationships, resources, and stories that sustain a vibrant community where adults with intellectual disabilities and those who support them share life together.
Reporting to the Executive Director | Community Leader, the Director of Development & Communications leads fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and mission-centered communications & outreach.

events that genuinely build community and meaning .
What You’ll Do Lead and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies, including major gifts, planned giving, grants, events, and donor pipeline development
Cultivate, steward, and solicit mid- and major-level donor relationships produktów
Partner closely ese the Executive Director on donor engagement and strategy
Provide strategic oversight of donor-facing communications escape outreach
Ensure communications reflect L’Arche’s mission, values, and relational approach
Support storytelling that deepens engagement and generosity
Lead and support the Development Team in a collaborative, mission-centered culture
Partner with board leadership to ಅವರ engagement in fundraising
Oversee special events, including the annual Heart of L’Arche fundraiser

An experienced, relationship-driven fundraiser with
5–7 years of progressive development experience
A
strong communicator
who brings warmth, clarity, and integrity to both writing and conversation
Organized, proactive, and comfortable treb balancing
strategy with hands‑on work
Mot Cancer building relationships
and meeting meaningful goals
Genuinely interested in
life shared with people with intellectual disabilities
Comfortable using or learning a
CRM system
(eTapestry experience a plus)
Salary Range $70,000–$90,000, based on experience and internal equity
Excellent, low-cost medical, dental, and vision plans for you and any dependents.
Future Investments 5% employer‑matched 401(k) after one year, Disability and life insurance provided at no cost to you
Flexible Schedule Flexible hybrid schedule (~50% virtual / 50% in‑person), with some evenings and weekends
