Salary range: $125,000- $140,000
How you will make an impact: This role supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department. This role assists in evaluating and enhancing staff performance to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care in compliance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Provides support by carrying out assigned responsibilities and assisting in achieving department goals. In addition, this role may manage or lead specialty programs such as Infection control, Wound Care, Psychotropics, and Restorative or Fall programs.
You will:
Lead and support nursing staff in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care
Oversee key specialty programs such as Infection Control, Wound Care, and Fall Prevention
Monitor quality indicators and assist in continuous improvement initiatives
Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic resident care
Provide leadership coverage during absences of the Director of Nursing
Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt position. Hours may vary depending on the needs of the community and leadership coverage.
What you will need:
Current Illinois RN license required
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred, or equivalent experience
At least four years of leadership experience in long-term or skilled nursing care
Proven success as an Administrator, ADON, or DON
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office Suite
