What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers with U‑Haul products and services inside and outside the center
Utilize smartphone technology to manage rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U‑Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring equipment is clean and inspected
Answer customer inquiries and prepare rental invoices
Participate in ongoing education through U‑Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing at least 50 lbs
Willingness to comply with safety precautions when working around moving parts or machines
Availability for hands‑on working interviews
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in a customer service role
Familiarity with equipment inspection and maintenance
Certification in forklift operation (training provided)
Ability to install hitches and trailer wiring (training provided)
Experience using smartphone technology for inventory management
