
Traveling Construction Superintendent
We are looking for a traveling construction superintendent to support construction management for GBA Builders. This superintendent will have full support of the project manager while exercising autonomy in day‑to‑day operations. Successful candidate will be a team player who is self‑motivated and willing to jump in and assist where needed, adding value by offering thoughtful solutions and project efficiencies. Experience in the construction of pharma/biotech facilities is preferred. Also, we are interested in candidates with a heavy background in mechanical/piping.
Responsibilities
Provide coordination and supervision of pharma/biotech renovations and building additions with large amounts of process piping, clean utilities, mechanical upgrades, and automation
Collaboration with clients, design teams and subcontractors for project success
Build/maintain jobsite culture of “Safety First”
Quality Control/Quality Assurance
Daily coordination and management of subcontractors and jobsite logistics
Collect, review and submit shop drawings, product data, test reports, etc.
Build/update construction schedule and “look ahead” schedules
Review estimates with operations team to ensure logistical/site considerations are included
Review project budgets with project management weekly/monthly
Complete daily/weekly reports and maintain photo journal Sharp ˱

Ω Requirements
Degree in construction management or experience in the trades
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction management/supervision
Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and process piping
Partnership approach to working with contractors, designers and clients
Proficient in MS Office Suite and scheduling software Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team
Self‑motivation with good time‑management skills
