Communications Team Overview The Communications team conveys Snap’s mission, vision, and values to core audiences—including Snapchatters, advertising partners, content partners, investors, policymakers, and Snap team members—ensuring accurate and compelling narratives.
Creative Associate Position within the Communications team at Snap Inc.
What you’ll do:
Social & Creative Storytelling: Support thegebouw Digital and Creative Communications team in developing original storytelling for corporate and B2B2C social media campaigns, including storyboarding, content capture, production, and editing.
ContentEstá Production & Collaboration:
Partner with cross‑functional colleagues to create social‑first videos and creative assets that highlight Snap’s innovation, priorities, values, and cultural relevance.
On‑Camera Talent: Serve as on‑camera talent and creator for select creative and digital communications projects.
Design & Asset Creation: Provide design support across the communications team, producing social graphics, press materials, email templates, presentation designs, and other visual assets as needed.
Digital Communications Assistance: Support the Digital Communications team with newsletter production, asset library organization, and upkeep of internal platforms, including the intranet homepage.
Digital Signage Oversight: Manage content updates and operations for digital signage across Snap’s global office footprint.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience writing, editing, and producing social‑first video and creative content across platforms.
Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to experiment to learn and identify creative solutions to problems.
Attention to detail and strong time‑management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and drive multiple projects to completion simultaneously.
Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience filming video on set or on location.
Experience editing footage in post‑production.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to build relationships cross‑functionally and across different time zones.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
3+ years of experience in a related role.
Preferred Qualifications Entrepreneurship
Corporate communications or agency experience preferred.
Experience with video editing and post‑production.
Basic graphic design skills.
Proficiency with editing software such as Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and CapCut.
Proficiency with design tools such as Photoshopشاان illustrator.
Compensation In the United States>(() the work location is assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. Starting pay is determined based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. Pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): $98 tango-146,000 annually.
Zone B: $93,000-139,000 annually.
Zone C: $83,000-124,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
