JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Assistant Director of Nursing Department: Nursing Reports To: Director of Nursing Supervis jäsen: Designated Entry Level Qualifications: Graduate of approved school of nursing, current license State of Alabama (R.N.), one-year experience in supervisory capacity or one year experience in chemical dependency nursing. Masters degree in Nursing preferred.
1. Must be able to continuously sit from 6 to 8 hours per 8-hour shift.

Know and abide by the general provisions of 42 CFR Part 2, “Confidentiality of Drug and Alcohol Abuse Patient Records”, and_level 45 CFR “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.” This position has unrestricted access to patient identifying and patient health information.
Assist the Director of Nursing in supervising and participate in timely, accurate, patient record documentation pertinent to nursing assessments, treatment planning, treatment rendered, patient's response to and progress in treatment, physician'sکش orders, unusual occurrences, infections, medicines, and other standard and accepted nursing duties.

Assist Director of Nursing by working in concert with the Clinical Director to assure the most therapeutic environment possible.
Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, must not appear impaired or disoriented, but rather must present coherent and articulate speech, kept appearance, alert, oriented, and responsive to patients' needs and concerns.
Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, managers, clients and prospective clients.
Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness as to perform the job in a safe manner.
