Location Hybrid/remote‑friendly. Preferred candidate based in the Greater Los Angeles area, working hours aligned to PST. Requires on-site presence at client office at least 3 days a week.

The Role Web Product Consultant to lead strategy, roadmap, and delivery of web platforms across sports, media, and entertainment. Must ensure websites are engaging, high‑performing, and align with business goals such as audience growth, monetization, and brand storytelling.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of full product lifecycle for web platforms.

Define and maintain product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.

Prioritize features and improvements using data, fan feedback, and business impact.

Partner with content and editorial teams to streamline content creation and personalization through CMS workflows.

Ensure experiences are intuitive, accessible, and optimized across devices.

Write product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Collaborate with Engineering and Design on delivery, testing prototypes, and gathering user feedback.

Manage backlogs, coordinate releases, and track dependencies across teams.

Define success metrics, track performance, and use analytics and experimentation to improve engagement, conversion, and retention.

Serve as main point of contact for internal stakeholders, communicate progress, clarify priorities, and align teams.

Requirements

2–5 years experience as Product Manager or similar, owning web or digital platforms.

Familiarity with modern web technologies, CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful) and front‑end/back‑end trade‑offs.

Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Ability to translate user needs and business goals into actionable product solutions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Problem‑solving mindset, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Experience in sports, media, entertainment, or consumer digital products.

Knowledge of personalization, subscriptions, e‑commerce, or advertising‑supported models a strong asset.

Experience with analytics tools (GA, Adobe, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.).

Exposure to accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and performance optimization a bonus.

Experience supporting live events or managing seasonal traffic spikes.
