The Director of Nursing provides clinical leadership and oversight for an Assisted Living and Memory Care) community in Sequim, WA. This role is primarily leadership-based, with responsibility for overseeing nursing operations, medication management, compliance, and team development. The Director of Nursing must be comfortable stepping in clinically when needed and serving as the clinical authority in the building.
This position requires a confident, experienced nurse who can operate independently and strengthen an existing team.
Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and oversight for Memory Care and Assisted Living Oversee medication management, resident acuity, and clinical decision-making Ensure compliance with state regulations and reporting requirements Deliver clinical in-services and ongoing education to staff Strengthen and support the Resident Care Manager and caregiving teams Serve as the primary clinical resource for the community Step in to support care and clinical needs as necessary
Team Structure Works closely with the Resident Care Manager (RCM) Oversees Med Techs and Caregivers (Home Care Aides / CNAs) through the RCM Acts as the primary nursing leader and clinical partner for operations

Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN licensed in WA Strong experience in: Memory Care and/or Assisted Living Medication management and med carts Clinical oversight and compliance Med Tech Delegation certification/license highly preferred Knowledge of state regulations related to Memory Care and Assisted Living Comfortable working with higher-acuity and Memory Care residents
