The Head of Fixed Income Brokerage and Advisory, CGWI Americas will lead the fixed income brokerage, trading, and advisory activities across North and Latin America for Citi Private Bank and Citigold / Citi Private Client distribution channels. The position will be the key driver for building and growing the Americas Fixed Income business at Citi, including developing a proactive sales and trading business, owning the platform end‑to‑end, improving the client experience, and delivering a robust direct‑to‑desk advisory coverage model.

A successful candidate will own all administrative and risk‑related aspects of the fixed income business for Citi Wealth and will work with product, control, and distribution partners (Bankers, Investment Counselors, Financial Advisors, Product Specialists, Institutional Partners, Banking, Capital Markets, Legal, Compliance, Risk, etc.). The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in fixed income, be results‑oriented, and be a proven problem solver who can guide and challenge the way our brokerage, trading‑execution, and advisory business operates while ensuring compliance and risk controls are managed.

Key Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day Leadership

Manage a team of senior and junior fixed‑income traders and advisors to create a best‑in‑class execution, advisory, and service model.

Maintain service levels, streamline and troubleshoot operational issues, and improve efficiency in execution and trading platforms.

Lead relationships with internal Citi partners (institutional trading desks, operations, supervision, product, and control partners) to deliver a best‑in‑class client experience.

Control errors, maintain internal controls, and work with sales and relationship partners to address client coverage and execution issues across Citi Private Bank and Citigold/Citi Private Client.

Ensure proper backups across functions, comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and coordinate communications with Pershing and other internal partners.

Product and Platform Development

Ensure platform capabilities and market access enable strong competition in the target market.

Lead approval, training, and implementation of new capital market products or variations.

Own and coordinate projects that drive business efficiency and improve client experience.

Platform Management

Modernize the platform for full and self‑service trading, identifying opportunities and enhancements.

Collaborate with technology, compliance, and operations to implement changes.

Service Model

Create a service model aligned to Citi Private Bank and Citigold/Citi Private Client channels, ensuring a best‑in‑class end‑to‑end client experience.

Business Development

Develop a coordinated business strategy across the Americas to deliver the full range of products and solutions to CPB and CGW target market clients.

Management Reporting

Provide detailed business reporting and data analysis to the Business Head and Capital Markets Head.

Human Capital Management

Align people strategy and organizational capabilities with business strategy and brokerage needs.

Qualifications and Experience Required

10+ years of experience at a trading desk, brokerage platform, or similar institutional structure with increased financial and distribution management experience in financial services.

5+ years of managerial, supervisory, and demonstrated leadership experience.

Benefits and Compensation Primary location: New York, New York, United States. Full‑time salary range: $250,000.00 – $500,000.00.
