Senior Regulatory Analyst – Safety Analysis and Sharing Support
Position Overview
The Senior Regulatory Analyst provides analytical, technical, and coordination support to the FAA's Aviation Safety Information Analysis and Sharing (ASIAS) program. This role supports aviation safety analysis, regulatory information sharing, data standards development, and safety outreach activities. The Senior Regulatory Analyst works closely with FAA program offices, safety teams, domestic and international aviation stakeholders, and the aerospace community to support informed regulatory decision‑making and continuous aviation safety improvement.
Key Responsibilities Safety Analysis & Sharing Project Management Support (Task 2)
Provide preparatory, on‑site, and post‑meeting support for safety analysis, regulatory coordination, and information‑sharing events.
Plan and coordinate regional, national, and international safety team meetings and conferences.
Arrange meeting logistics including venues, facilities, lodging, meals, technical presentations, and exhibit halls.
Provide on‑site support for registration, attendee coordination, and required security arrangements.
Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, proceedings, and supporting documentation.
Develop and disseminate principal publications and outreach materials as directed.
Coordinate with vendors, temporary services firms, transportation providers, and partner organizations.
Prepare and distribute meeting records in FAA‑approved formats (e.g., PowerPoint, PDF).
Ensure clear identification as a contractor in all written, electronic営業、 and in‑person communications.
Safety Information Analysis Support (Task 3)
Conduct aviation safety analytical studies to support regulatory and safety decision‑making.
Desired Skills
Knowledge of aviation regulations, safety management systems (SMS), and data standards.
Experience with data modeling, metadata management, and analytical tools.
Ability to translate complex technical and data‑driven findings into regulatory insights.
Strong facilitation, stakeholder coordination, and consensus‑building skills.
Proficiency in preparing deliverables in PowerPoint, Word, PDF, and related formats.
