Job Title Senior Director, Spend Analytics
Location Franklin, TN - this position is fully in office.
Job Description OMNIA Partners is uniquely positioned as a data-driven, tech-enabled Group Purchasing Organization. We are currently seeking a Senior Director for our Spend Analytics group. This role will lead the growth of our “Spend Path” spend analytics group, taking the foundation that has been established, continue aggressive growth, and ensure conversion of activity into revenue.
The person in this role will oversee a team focused on Spend Analytics, with the objective of delivering timely, clear, actionable, and reliable analytics to drive business growth and customer acquisition. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader who has demonstrated success in building and managing KPIs, applying analytical models to large data sets, and managing teams to develop and produce impactful data visualization that help elevate the importance and effectiveness of data insights in decision making and daily business activities. The position requires combining an analytical and commercial mindset to lead and develop teams toward success in overcoming the real-world challenges presented by imperfect data. This position will oversee development and delivery of presentations and reports that simplify complex information and processes and will interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive value for OMNIA Partners, our members and our supplier partners.
Summary of Responsibilities
Lead teams of analysts responsible for performing core analysis and developing key deliverables to deepen engagement with Members (customers) and Supplier Partners
Assemble complex data sets from multiple platforms to produce impactful deliverables enabling a consultative delivery of findings to customers and supplier partners
Create dynamic output for conveying sales and savings opportunities to external business partners across a variety of businesses and industries
Manage key data taxonomies for major segments of the business to best align high volumes of data to the uniqueness of our business
Interface with Technology and AI Development teams to continue to drive improvements in our process for analysis and delivery
Manipulate data to customize deliverables to accommodate customers’ unique or complex requests
Aggregate data across customer base to identify commonalities and trends among sales opportunities
Organize and manage totality of opportunities across customers and suppliers to ensure ongoing sales growth
Prioritize, support, and maintain deliverables (i.e. assessments, reporting, etc.)
Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, manage escalations, and resolve issues in a timely manner
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience
BA/BS in a field that builds competency for the role, e.g., computer science, social sciences, math, engineering, statistics, or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated history in marrying excellence in Quantitative Analysis with Creativity and Innovation
Advanced Excel experience including pivot tables/reports, conditional formulas, formatting, XLOOKUPs, and charts/graphs
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Data driven storytelling skills to deliver impactful and actionable insights
Strong written and verbal communication, comfortably and effectively communicating through all levels of the organization as well as with external partners
Ability to make decisions and problem-solve in ambiguous situations
Self-motivated / Willing to learn / Well organized
Familiarity/experience with Tableau, Alteryx, and Salesforce
