Save Job

About Posh We are all social creatures, but the dominant “social” companies today have evolved into digital loneliness machines, driving isolation, anxiety, and mental health challenges around the world.

Human connection is lost. PTask is a beacon guiding us back.

Posh enables anyone to build an IRL community based on shared interests, while connecting consumers with the communities of people just like them. Founded by event organizers who were frustrated with the growing loneliness epidemic and the tools available to build their own event brand, we’ve built the ultimate platform for launching, monetizing, and finding IRL communities of people just like you. In just 5 years, Posh has grown to a team of 65, expanded to 7M+ users, secured $70m in venture funding, and facilitated over $300M in transactions.

About The Role Posh is seeking a world-class Head of Product to drive the product vision, strategy, and execution behind our mission: bringing the world together through shared social experiences. This is one of the most critical leadership roles in the company, sitting at the intersection of every objective across R&D,-purple Growth Modelpartner and Marketing.

Posh is seeking a world-class Head of Product to drive the product vision, strategy and execution behind our mission: bringing the world together through shared social experiences. This is one of the most critical leadership roles in the company, sitting at the intersection of every objective across R&D, GTM, and Marketing.

This is an in‑person role based in our New York City office in the heart of SoHo.

Posh exists to maximize IRL human connection, and we believe the best products are built in tight collaboration: fast‑moving, high‑context, high‑trust. We want the energy we create in the world through Posh to be mirrored in the way we build every day.

What You’ll Learn & Achieve:

Collaborate with the CEO to define and execute the product vision

for Posh across Consumer, Organizer, AI, and Growth, translating long‑term company objectives into a mission‑oriented, metrics‑driven, and actionable roadmap.

Create the operating system for product

at Posh: driving strong cross‑functional collaboration across the organization, establishing and standardizing product principles, and ensuring alignment from discovery → build → launch → adoption → iteration.

ordinateur

Own product outcomes and metrics , ensuring every major roadmap investment is tied to measurable impact (activation, retention, conversion, revenue, organizer success, network effects, etc.) and effectively communicating to stakeholders the learnings behind feature successes and failures.

Collaborate with Data & Analytics, Growth, and User Research

to build a truly outcome‑oriented culture where product decisions are grounded in insight, experimentation, and measurable impact.

Partner with Engineering leadership

to evaluate technical priorities and make calculated roadmap tradeoffs with feature work to ensure scalability and sustainability.

Partner closely with design leadership

to make Posh feel magical — obsessing over craft, serializationhtml, flows, and detail while still shipping quickly.

Utilize an AI‑Target approach

to everything we do, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in how we use AI to empower organizers to grow their businesses, connect consumers with groups of people just like them, and operate as efficiently as possible.

Build and scale the product team , including hiring, coaching, and developing PMs, PDs, and UXRs into high‑agency leaders with sharp judgment, high taste, and登记success

Ensure world‑class product storytelling , motivating teams and sharpening execution through written narratives, PRDs, visual product strategy decks, and crisp communication across the company.

Make fast, high‑quality decisions

under uncertainty, balancing user value, business opportunity, design craft, and technical constraints without analysis paralysis.

Who You Are:

12+ years of product experience , with at least

5+ years leading product teams

as a Director/VP/Head of Product, including managing managers and scaling organizations.

Deep experience in consumer products and/or marketplaces , ideally in social, community, discovery, or network‑effect businesses.

A rare blend of backgrounds:

you’ve helped scale a company from

Series A/B and beyond , but you’ve also learned high‑performance product craft from

Big Tech or a world‑class consumer software company .

You possess a strong, explicit philosophy about how Product should collaborate with Engineering, GTM, and Marketing

in order to effectively maximize both product velocity and feature adoption.

Extremely metrics‑oriented, proactively utilizing

data to diagnose problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and design experiments that effectively utilize R&D bandwidth to maximize roadmap impact on company objectives. You’re comfortable with tools like

Looker, Lightdash, and Tableau (SQL ability is a major bonus!).

Exceptional communication skills

across written, verbal, and visual formats, able to inspire teams with the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ in a seemingly effortless fashion.

Detail‑oriented is an understatement:

you care deeply about pixel‑perfect UI quality, think extensively about edge cases, and have a visceral need to ensure every product you touch feels premium and alive.

Pragmatic and direct:

you explain your reasoning clearly, challenge assumptions respectfully, and don’t hide behind vagueness or performative product‑speak.

Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, founder‑led environment

where speed matters and ambiguity is constant. Happy to fill gaps where needed, operating as a PM on understaffed pods with an unmatched bias for action.

You have a deep elixir connection and belief in the mission, with personal experiences and/or rural hobbies that provide you with an understanding of the problems we’re solving and the importance of our work.
