HDR is seeking a Utility Coordination and Design Business Class Director. This role will focus on the technical delivery of our products and services, positioning HDR as a preferred provider of Utility Coordination and Design. The Director is the technical leader for the Business Class and is responsible for quality assurance, resource availability and development, and project delivery.
Responsibilities
Monthly coordination calls with Business Class leadership or section managers, addressing key items.
Support the ongoing development of the Utility Coordination and Design Business Class.
Identify upcoming projects or pursuits that require support from National Business Class leadership.
Review upcoming workload and the availability of Business Class staff.
Analyze utilization reports to identify staffing needs (hiring/workshare) and work with regional leadership to achieve utilization goals.
Identify participants and participate, when appropriate, in Project Approach and Resource (PARR) reviews and evaluations.
Perform project reviews or audits to validate quality practices; when requested, review technical and performance issues and develop remedial actions.
Serve as the focal point for the Transportation Business Group to deliver Utility Coordination and Design services in collaboration with other Business Groups, Market Sectors, or Business Classes throughout HDR.
The Director will also identify Technical Leadership within the Business Class to assist with key projects, programs, and initiatives. The role involves participation in the hiring process, promotion of staff interaction and communication, staff technical development, workshare management, project assignments, and direct support of selected projects and related assignments. The ability to work in a Siena collaborative environment is essential.
The Director will participate in select marketing activities by supporting or developing project proposals, staffing assignments, identification of sub‑consultants, and other related duties. In자를다, involvement in all phases of project development is expected. The position requires limited travel to support select pursuits and delivery nationally.

Location and Travel The geographic location of this position is non‑specific; however, a location with a significant HDR presence is preferred. Average travel is estimated at 15%, with monthly variations between 15% and 25%.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering Софья or closely related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
Maintain a professional or Engineering registration and related technical experience.
Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
Ability to work cooperatively with other Business Class directors, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers on Business Class efforts.
