About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director, People and Culture to lead transformative digital growth and culture change within a mission-driven, people-centered environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for running core HR operations, building organization-wide frameworks for assessments, performance management, and professional development, and leading change management as the organization adopts AI and digital tools. This role requires a strategic HR leader with a focus on digital change, responsible AI integration, and operational excellence. The Managing Director will also be tasked with fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture, and guiding managers through change.
Ideal candidates for the Managing Director, People and Culture position at the company will have a proven track record in strategic HR leadership, with at least 10 years' experience in the field, including 5 years at an executive level. A background in digital change and responsible AI integration is essential, as is experience in operational excellence and team development. The role demands a collaborative, mission-driven leader with excellent relationship-building skills, who can effectively communicate and anticipate the impact of AI on the workforce. Strong candidates will be adept at fostering engagement, and culture, and will have a deep understanding of HR best practices, including compensation, benefits, and compliance. A BS/BA is required, with an MBA/MA/MS and SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred.
