Director of Children's Alliance
Full Time Management 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1154 Summary of Duties/Responsibilities: The Program Director is responsible for overall program management, program compliance, new program development, and strategic planning. Program management to include a full-scale (advocacy, counseling, forensic interviews, and in home services) victim-centered and community-based, child advocacy, and community prevention, intervention, and reunification program for five counties in the east part of New Mexico, Roosevelt, Curry, DeBaca, Harding, and Quay. Acquires funding to sustain the agency; as well as participates in activities to fulfill funding obligations to include monthly, quarterly, biannual and yearly grant documentation, miscellaneous travel obligations, and grant workshops. Networks with service providers, businesses, and community leaders. Exercises judgment in all agency related matters. Program Operations: Coordinate referrals and response with the District Attorney’s Office, multiple law enforcement agencies, hospitals/health providers, schools, civic organizations, and other service agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services for clients; collaborate and problem solve on an on-going basis. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Facilitate community and media outreach, presentations, and education activities; provide in-services and trainings to law enforcement, DA's offices, local/state agencies, and others as needed; establish and maintain agreements with co-responding agencies as needed. Collaborate with other Child Advocacy Centers, and CBPIR programs in New Mexico, coordinate with state leadership and agencies to promote consistent protocols and training for advocacy, counseling, forensic interviews, and in home services; attend meetings and conferences as appropriate to ensure professional development, collaboration and representation of Children’s Alliance. Oversee staff in CAC and CBPIR programs. Work with contracted counselor(s) to ensure continued onsite counseling program, support groups, and mental health wellness clinic as well as identify additional resources to support referrals. Maintain office operations and oversee supplies, equipment, computer, and communication systems. Perform other general office duties, housekeeping responsibilities, and general facilities maintenance as required. Program Finances: Monitor and facilitate processing of accounts, invoices, payment for personnel and operations. Compile monthly financial report for RGH CFO, including detailed accounting measures. Research and identify sources of funding to increase diversity of funds for agency operation. Ensures agency meets all requirements of funding sources and provides required reports, as needed Ensures funds are tracked and monitored to each category and fulfill the approved funding sources budgets Seeks out ways to ensure financial stability for the agency Manage grant process, prepare and oversee annual and monthly budgets, and submit monthly and quarterly reports as required per grant funding source.
