Location: Bergey's Truck Center-Souderton, PA Position Summary: Bergey's Truck Center has an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven Commercial Truck Sales Representative. This role is responsible for selling new and/or used medium- and heavy-duty trucks while meeting established profit and unit objectives. The ideal candidate will take a value-added, consultative approach to selling top-of-the-line truck solutions to customers ranging from operators to Fortune 500 companies. This position offers the opportunity to work with customers across a wide range of industries, providing a dynamic and rewarding sales experience. Success in this role requires strong relationship building skills, the ability to prospect in a competitive market, and a willingness to manage a local sales territory independently. Be part of a 100+ year family-owned company with a trusted reputation and commitment to its team members. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Sell new and used medium- and heavy-duty trucks. Prospect daily for new business through phone calls, outside sales visits, and relationship-building activities. Assist customers in selecting and ordering trucks by asking thoughtful questions and understanding their operational needs. Demonstrate trucks to customers, including test drives when applicable. Prepare accurate sales orders, secure deposits, and process paperwork in accordance with dealership policies. Close sales and meet or exceed delivery and revenue objectives. Provide follow-up and ongoing service to existing customers. Deliver new trucks and explain warranty, service, and maintenance policies. Maintain detailed outside sales call reports and CRM activity. Appraise used trucks when necessary. Collect accurate financial and customer information as required. Stay current on truck specifications, applications, and industry trends through ongoing training. Attend sales meetings and training programs. Maintain a professional appearance and represent Bergey's values at all times. Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations related to vehicle sales. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term relationships. Proven or potential sales aptitude with strong closing skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. Ability to manage time effectively and work in a competitive, goal-driven environment. Problem-solving skills and adaptability. Familiarity with CRM software is a plus. Previous sales experience is a plus but not required. Experience in the commercial trucking industry and/or mechanical knowledge is a strong plus. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Valid driver's license. Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening. Strong desire to build a long-term career with earning potential.
