The Greens at Hendersonville is seeking a
creative, compassionate Activities Director
to lead engaging programs that enrich the lives of our skilled nursing residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences that promote social, cognitive, and physical well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and lead daily, weekly, and monthly resident activities
Maintain an engaging activity calendar
Facilitate group and one-on-one activities
Coordinate with volunteers and community partners
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Track participation, manage supplies, and stay within budget
Collaborate with nursing and support staff
Qualifications
High school diploma required; related degree preferred
Activities Director Certification (NCCAP) or willingness to obtain
Experience in senior living or healthcare preferred
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Ability to remain active and lift up to 25 lbs
