The Director of Operations Intake and T&T (Transportation & Translation) in Ancillary Services oversees the strategic direction and provides director level leadership for the product lines. This role involves leading teams of ops managers with care coordinators and reports to the SVP, Head of Operations. This role will also require leading cross-functional initiatives, optimizing processes, leveraging scalability, and driving operational excellence with continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the delivery and efficiency of operations that are aligned with business objectives and growth. Drive employee engagement and foster a high-performance culture.
Operational Oversight:
Lead the Ops Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
Project Management:
Cross collaboration with all initiatives making sure to use best practices, management system techniques and efficient resource utilization.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement strategies to enhance operational workflows and service quality.
Financial Management:
Able to understand and assist with operational budgets, key financial measures and forecasts. Familiar with margin analysis.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with leadership across MTI. Serve as a resource for providers and customers.
Compliance Management:
Ensure all operations comply with healthcare regulations and standards.
Performance Monitoring:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess service quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or a related field
Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership, strong business acumen and demonstrated problem solving capabilities.
Leadership Strong skills in leading large teams
Strategic Thinking Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies
Project Management Experience in overseeing complex projects from conception to completion
Communication Excellent verbal and written skills for effective interaction with providers and internal teams
Analytical Skills Proficiency in analyzing data and making informed decisions
In‑depth understanding of ancillary services and healthcare operations In‑depth understanding of ancillary services and healthcare operations
Problem Solving Aptitude for identifying issues and creating effective solutions
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Typical office environment / remote work available
May require occasional travel
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
