Sales Engineering Coordinator II - Strategic Response
The Sales Engineering Coordinator II - Strategic Response is responsible for the overall support of the Sales Engineering Division and the coordination of Strategic Response packages such as Security and Technical Questionnaires as well as Request for Proposals (RFPs). They play a strong role in coordinating response pipelines, helping with team logistics and frequently interacting with customers. Success in the Sales Engineering Coordinator II - Strategic Response role increases team efficiency, higher customer satisfaction, increased sales, and successfully facilitates the coordination and timely completion of division response packages. This is a full-time position with remote, hybrid and on-site opportunities available. Responsibilities
Coordinating between Inductive Automation divisions to manage Sales Engineering Division calendars Briefing Sales Engineers and Application Engineers on upcoming meetings and events Acting as the point-of-contact for customers as needed to get them connected to an engineer Acting as a point-of-contact for team members during assigned internal projects Attending meetings for internal projects, taking meeting notes and completing any follow-up tasks Working with various stakeholders frequently to ensure the timely completion of internal projects Maintaining a high level of independence in projects and other responsibilities Working with other team members on scheduling, project management, interdepartmental coordination, and documentation Independently exploring and assisting in implementing improvements to methods and procedures for the Sales Engineering Division Educating and enforcing systems, processes, and procedures with cross-divisional teams Acting as a single point-of-contact for team members and customers on Security Questionnaires, Technical Questionnaires, and Requests for Information or Proposals (RFx) Coordinating support from cross-functional teams, including the Sales, Sales engineering, Software Engineering, Legal, and Finance Divisions to address items related to questionnaires and/or RFX Tracking Response deadlines and submission requirements Assisting in the maintenance of a library of proposal content, responses, and templates Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, or related field of study preferred or equivalent work experience Minimum of 1 year experience as a Sales Engineering Coordinator I, or 2-4 years professional experience in a similar role Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Ability to complete tasks from beginning to end independently Strong working knowledge of project management platforms (Asana, Trello, Kanban) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Be able to work independently with minimal supervision Curious, creative, and resourceful Knowledge of Response management platforms such as Responsive is a plus $65,000 - $72,000 a year Based on the Sacramento region, the new hires minimum and maximum target salary for this role is $65k - $72k. This role will be paid hourly. Inductive Automation's ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Although it is not typical for an individual to start at the top end of the range for the position, compensation decisions are dependent on: the facts and circumstances of each case, work location, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs.
