We are seeking a seasoned Presales GCP Solution Architect with a proven track record in cloud solutioning, effort estimation, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen and the ability to drive presales discussions, solution design, and proposal development. Experience with Gen AI concepts or implementations will be a valuable addition. Key Responsibilities
Lead presales activities for GCP-based cloud solutions, including customer workshops, solution demonstrations, and technical presentations. Design end-to-end cloud architectures, aligning business needs with GCP services and solutions. Identify and develop accelerators, reusable components, and frameworks to optimize solution delivery and differentiate offerings. Own solution estimations, effort sizing, and proposal development for customer RFPs and RFIs. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, delivery, and engineering, to build compelling customer value propositions. Develop and present technical presentations and proof-of-concepts to senior customer stakeholders. Stay updated on emerging GCP technologies and industry trends, especially in the areas of Gen AI and AI-driven cloud solutions. Support deal closure by addressing technical objections and providing solution assurance. Required Skills & Qualifications
10 to 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years as a Cloud Solution Architect. Expertise in GCP services (Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Vertex AI), cloud architecture patterns, and solution design. Strong experience in presales, including RFI/RFP response, effort estimation, and proposal development. Hands-on experience in customer-facing roles with strong presentation and communication skills. Exposure to Gen AI concepts. Knowledge of cost optimization, scalability, and security in cloud solution design. Multi-cloud management, cloud cost optimization, and cloud-native application development. Ability to own pricing, TCO analysis, and financial modelling to support business cases. Expertise in offer building, bundling services, and developing reusable accelerators to enhance delivery speed. Ability to engage and influence C-level executives, technical leaders, and business stakeholders. Preferred Skills
GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable. Experience working with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Google CES (CCAI) knowledge or experience. Life at Capgemini
