This role ensures high-quality, cost-effective, and compliant laboratory operations while aligning with system-wide standards, initiatives, and performance goals. The Director collaborates with system leadership, hospital executives, and clinical teams to optimize laboratory services, support patient care, and drive continuous improvement./ppKey Responsibilities/ph3Strategic Leadership/h3ulliDevelop and implement the hospital laboratorys operational plan in alignment with system-wide strategies and objectives./liliParticipate in system governance committees to standardize processes, share best practices, and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives./liliForecast future service needs and recommend investments in technology, staffing, and infrastructure./li/ulh3Operational Management/h3ulliOversee daily operations of all laboratory sections (clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, pathology, etc.) ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance./liliMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to meet quality, efficiency, and financial targets./liliEnsure compliance with CLIA, CAP, DNV, and other regulatory requirements./li/ulh3System Integration
