How you'll contribute An Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who excels in this role: Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function. Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Monitors patient's responses to treatment plan. Documents services provided and patient response/progress. Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Assists with patient discharge planning. What we're looking for Applicants must have an Associate's degree and be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Additional requirements include: Current and Valid PTA license in the state where services are rendered.
