Perks/ph3Job Summary/h3pThe Director, Practice Management is responsible for the operational, financial, and clinical oversight of physician practices within the healthcare system. This role ensures optimal resource utilization, efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability across all managed practices. The Director collaborates with physicians, hospital leadership, and administrative teams to enhance practice operations, patient flow, and business performance while maintaining a focus on quality care, patient access, and strategic growth./ph3Essential Functions/h3ulliProvides leadership and oversight for physician practice operations, ensuring efficient workflows, staffing, and resource allocation to support high-quality patient care./liliManages financial performance, including budgeting, billing, collections, expense management, and revenue cycle optimization to ensure fiscal sustainability./liliDevelops and implements business plans for practice expansion, new provider integration, and operational improvements in alignment with organizational goals./liliEnsures compliance with regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies, and healthcare laws governing physician practice management, billing, coding, and patient privacy./liliCollaborates with physicians, hospital administrators, and department leaders to enhance patient access, streamline operations, and improve provider satisfaction./liliOversees strategic planning, long-range forecasting, and performance analytics to identify growth opportunities and areas for process improvement./liliImplements and monitors policies and procedures that align with best practices in clinical operations, patient flow, and practice efficiency./liliCoordinates provider onboarding and credentialing, ensuring smooth integration of new physicians and healthcare professionals into the system./liliRepresents the organization in interactions with third-party payers, government agencies, and healthcare networks, advocating for policies that support financial and operational goals./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./liliMaintains regular and reliable attendance./liliComplies with all policies and standards./li/ulh3Leadership Responsibilities/h3h3Supervision and Staff Management/h3pProvides leadership, mentorship and professional development opportunities for departmental staff. Schedules employees to ensure effective use of resources. Consults with leadership on any potential staffing issues. Conducts performance evaluations, sets goals and provides feedback to staff on their performance and development./ph3Strategic Planning and Financial Oversight/h3pCollaborates with hospital leadership to set the strategic direction for the department, including budgeting, resource allocation and long-term planning. Monitors expenditures, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services. Evaluates and implements new technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Develops and implements departmental policies and procedures and protocols to optimize quality and overall efficiencies./ph3Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance/h3pEnsures compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies. May oversee the accreditation process with relevant agencies ensuring that services meet or exceed industry standards. Participates in audits, inspections and accreditation processes as applicable. Follows established quality control practices to ensure accuracy, consistency and safety./ph3Collaboration and Communication/h3pWorks closely with leadership teams to coordinate and improve service delivery. Stays up-to-date with industry advancements, new technologies, and regulatory changes./ph3Staff Responsibilities/h3pMay work in a staff role, when required.
