divh2Intelligence Graphic Artist/h2pIntelligence Graphic Artists on contract will produce print graphics in support of finished intelligence (FINTEL) and will ensure intelligence products effectively convey information and comply with Intelligence Community standards. The Graphic Artist will take draft products and documentation from concept to completion, ensuring each graphical document delivers the correct information in an easy-to-understand format./ppEssential Functions:/pulliProvide support in the creation of value-added intelligence products./liliWork independently with no required oversight./liliResponsible for creating and modifying graphics, illustrations, brochures, manuals, publications, and other artwork to better communicate textual content./liliCollaborate with internal teams and other stakeholders to fully understand product details, goals, and objectives./liliResearch and create maps, pictures, charts, bar scales, and graphics that highlight key themes in products./liliDevelop and maintain databases of stored graphics to quickly create products. They will operate standard computer hardware and software to prepare, revise, print, and store text, illustrations, graphs, and charts and assist with basic illustrations and detail from models, sketches, memory, written or oral instructions, and imagination./liliSelect font type, draw lettering, layout materials, and perform duties. They will determine the style, technique, and medium best suited to produce the preferred effects and conform to reproduction requirements./liliListen and work with analysts to make recommendations that assist illustrating key themes in graphical format. They will quickly grasp complex topics, identify main themes, and while using imagination, deliver high-quality content for the intended audience in text and pictures./liliAnalyze information and determine the clearest and most logical way to graphically communicate information for greatest comprehension and will generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions while meeting with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed./liliPerform other duties as required./li/ulpStandard Essential Functions:/pulliRegular and reliable attendance on a full time basis./liliResponsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the companys policies and practices./liliEmbodies AEVEXs cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture./li/ulpQualifications and Competencies:/pulliUnderstanding of intelligence concepts to interpret data effectively and design graphics aligned with mission goals./liliAbility to learn and apply new design tools, techniques, and technologies./liliKnowledge of geospatial or data visualization tools like ArcGIS or Tableau./liliKnowledge of the DoD and Intelligence Community (IC)./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills./li/ulpEducation / Certifications:/pulliBachelors degree or minimum four (4) years of experience working in a professional environment in lieu of a degree./liliDOD, DoS, DHS, or equivalent training/course completion preferred./li/ulpExperience:/pulliIn-depth knowledge of SOF and or CT intelligence experience is highly desirable./liliExperience in data visualization and a DoD environment./liliExperience using Adobe Creative Suite or Microsoft Office Suite./liliExperience with graphic design and layout./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
