We currently have an opportunity for a Director of Survey; the ideal candidate will be self-motivated with leadership skills and an understanding of clients and business. Candidates should be energetic, self-motivated, and interested in working with a diverse group of professionals in a team atmosphere.
The Director will have business development, client satisfaction, and P & L responsibility for our client’s growing needs. The ideal candidate is a seller-doer that desires ownership in the firm. We are seeking a transformative leader with technical skills who will lead the pursuits of projects and oversee the successful delivery of projects.
The Director candidate must have a proven track record in mentoring and developing employees, managing the workforce, communicating effectively at all levels within organizations, and leading through influence.
Requirements
Minimum of 15 years of local experience Registered/Professional Land Surveyor (RLS or PLS) in the state of Arizona Strong reputation in the field of civil engineering Proven ability to plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate technical work Proven ability to initiate client contact, successfully negotiate and obtain new contracts Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills Benefits:

This position will require general supervision and will have to use independent judgment within established guidelines. Generally, uses advanced knowledge to analyze, interpret, or make deductions from varying facts or circumstances.
Will need the ability to establish rapport quickly with others working on the same project and be able to promote a positive team environment. Working knowledge of dealing with a diverse population while using tact, diplomacy, and respect.
