How you make a difference

The Director of Partnership Development is accountable for identifying and developing new business opportunities at federal, state, county, and local levels, as well as closing deals. They analyze and research opportunities and assist with the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, ensuring that client needs align with company capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Identifies, analyzes and develops business opportunities at federal, state, county and local levels by collaborating with Operations and Business Development to create effective business development strategies. Manages assigned accounts and generates new sales opportunities, exceeding assigned revenue and margin targets by utilizing all company resources, including management, operations and business development. Develops and implements sales plans to ensure success in winning new business, forecasting new and existing account growth and revenue as requested by the Senior Vice President of Partnership Development. Maintains relationships with key customer contacts, providing customer status reports, key prospecting data, trip reports, and other sales reports as requested, while tracking and reporting all sales activities utilizing salesforce.com. Represents the company at national and local trade shows and conferences, attending RFP pre-bid conferences and site tours, and contributing to RFP responses by writing key portions such as transmittal/cover letters, executive summaries, and cost proposals. Qualifications & Requirements

Education Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Communications or related field. Experience Experience in working with the behavioral health and/or criminal justice systems, or selling services to the government or similar agencies is preferred. Seven (7) years of professional experience. Industry experience and business development experience is highly desirable.
