Description WHAT YOU WILL DO
Full responsibility for weekend Jr. High and High School ministry programs
Program preparation
Room set-up and tear-down
Create a warm, inviting environment for students.
Enlist, equip, empower, and encourage an adult volunteer team
Small Groups
Steward a small group time centralized to the weekend program
Provide pastoral care as needed
Events
Create a strategic event calendar containing 8 events a year (including centrally run Summer Camp)
Team Aspects
Various campus responsibilities weekly
Participate in the greater SSM team through monthly meetings and collaboration efforts
Meet with Student Central Support Team
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
Experience
Experience working in student ministry.
A bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Proficient in the use of Google Workspace.
Qualities
Passionate follower of Jesus
Team player
Passionate about working with students (Grades 6-12)
Able to multitask and handle shifting priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to lead, direct, coordinate, organize and follow through
WHAT WE OFFER
The estimated pay rate for this position is $25.00-$26.00 per hour. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. The wage range posted does not guarantee a specific wage for a job offer.
