The new Marriott properties at the Georgia National Fairgrounds are looking for an experienced lead bartender to spearhead our beverage operations. Our facilities include the 1824 Kitchen and Bar, an outdoor Beer Garden featuring live entertainment, and beverage catering for the meeting facilities at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Ag Center.
We’re looking for someone who can provide excellent service, craft quality drinks, and deliver a welcoming experience to every guest. This is an opportunity for a hard‑working bartender to make good money through hourly wages, tips, and catering service fees.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a full range of cocktails, beer, wine, and non‑alcoholic beverages with consistency and accuracy.
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner and provide personalized recommendations.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels of the bar.
Follow all alcohol service laws and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service for both bar and dining room guests.
Handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
Utilize the Toast point‑of‑sale system (Toast experience preferred but not required).
Qualifications
Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in a restaurant or hotel setting.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and mixology techniques.
Excellent communication and guest service skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation $9 - $13 hourly
