We bring clarity and confidence to vetting and hiring decisions through integrated, tailored solutions, driving a higher standard of accuracy in everything we do. Combining in-house talent, personalized services, and proprietary technology, we ensure the best candidate experience possible. PBSA accredited and based in Nashville, TN, we offer expertise from our regional centers across 200 countries and territories.
Overview We are seeking a Senior Analytics Lead with deep expertise in data science and statistics to elevate our analytical capabilities across financial, operational, and commercial domains. This role is ideal for a candidate with a master’s degree in statistics (or a closely related quantitative field) and hands‑on experience applying advanced statistical and data science methods to solve complex business problems in a corporate environment.
You will be responsible for identifying, mapping, and extracting relevant data assets across the HireRight ecosystem, and for applying rigorous analytical and statistical techniques to generate actionable insights and reliable conclusions. The ideal candidate will be adept at designing and testing predictive models, evaluating model performance, identifying key drivers of business outcomes, and clearly communicating findings—including forecast variances and their drivers—in terms that are accessible to C‑level executives. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite: Tues, Wed, Thurs) based in our Nashville, TN Corporate Headquarters.
Responsibilities
Data Asset Discovery & Extraction: Systematically identify, map, and extract relevant data sources across the HireRight ecosystem for analysis, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
Advanced Analytics & Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical and machine learning methods (e.g., regression, classification, time series analysis) to forecast financial and operational outcomes, explain model accuracy, and identify key predictor variables.
Analytical Practice Development: Establish and promote best practices for statistical analysis and data science within the team, leveraging commercial analytics platforms to test and validate models.
Insight Generation & Executive Communication: Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and narratives for executive audiences, including explanations of forecast variances and model drivers.
Collaboration & Enablement: Partner with data platform teams (e.g., EDM), Finance, and other business units to operationalize analytics, ensure scalable solutions, and enable self‑service analytics where appropriate.
Visualization & BI Enablement: Develop compelling visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Tableau to support decision‑making and drive adoption among leadership.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
3–5 years of applied data science/statistics experience in a corporate setting, with a track record of insightful and productive project delivery.
