Operational Management:

Oversee the daily operations of all diagnostic imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology with special emphasis on CAT Scan and Neuro-Interventional Radiology. Staff Leadership:

Manage, supervise, and mentor a team of supervisors, technologists, and administrative staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development. Quality and Compliance:

Ensure the department maintains compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards, including The Joint Commission, the American College of Radiology, DOH, and HIPAA. Strategic Planning:

Assist the Director with strategic planning, including evaluation and implementation of new imaging technologies, services, and process improvements such as CAT Scan Cardiac Imaging and Neuro Interventional procedures. Financial Management:

Help develop and monitor the departmental budget, manage resources effectively, and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Interdepartmental Collaboration:

Work with other hospital departments, physicians, and external agencies to integrate radiology services into overall patient care and resolve operational challenges. Patient Care:

Monitor daily workflow and performance to ensure timely and accurate imaging services that prioritize patient safety and satisfaction. Problem-Solving:

Provide on-site leadership and technical support to staff, including troubleshooting issues that arise during peak times. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Radiologic Technology, or a related field. Current NYS DOH License and certification by a nationally recognized body, such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in imaging services, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of all radiological techniques, modalities, and equipment, with special emphasis in CAT Scan and Neuro Interventional procedures. In-depth understanding of regulatory and quality assurance standards. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
