Job Category Retail

Position Summary The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a hybrid role in stores and serves as a key pipeline for career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. The role is responsible for serving customers, recommending products and services, performing entry‑level vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services.

Pay Range: $15.20 - $22.71 per hour.

Responsibilities

Customer service, sales, customer issue resolution – 75% of time.

Basic vehicle service tasks: oil, tire and fluid changes – 25% of time.

Store operations: opening/closing, inventory, displays – as needed.

Growth and Career Development

May assist a Manager or act as Manager‑On‑Duty in certain circumstances or to support development.

Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front/back shop tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Valid automobile driver's license.

Strong customer service orientation and career growth mindset.

Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.

Ability to learn and operate store systems.

Preferred Qualifications

2‑year degree or completion of a non‑traditional education or training program.

Previous consumer retail sales experience.

Previous automotive experience a plus.

Previous management/supervisory experience a plus.
