The Opportunity We’re seeking a Supervising Attorney to provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight within our busy immigration practice. This is a hands‑on role for an experienced immigration attorney who enjoys developing others while ensuring the quality, consistency, and timeliness of the firm’s work. You’ll collaborate closely with firm leadership to manage case flow, support junior attorneys, and maintain a steady, organized environment where both clients and team members can succeed.
What You’ll Do
Mentor and guide junior attorneys and staff through case strategy, drafting, and communication
Review filings, petitions, motions, and correspondence for accuracy and effectiveness
Oversee the firm’s master calendar, ensuring deadlines, hearings, and filings stay on track
Coordinate with attorneys and staff to anticipate and prevent scheduling or procedural conflicts
Handle select complex matters and maintain a caseload commensurate with managerial responsibilities
Conduct periodic file audits for quality assuranceLead or participate in training sessions to strengthen the team’s legal and organizational skills
Step in on sensitive or escalated client issues when needed to maintain trust and resolution
Partner with firm leadership to refine case management systems and reporting processes
What You Bring
J.D. and active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
Minimum of five years’ immigration law experience in a multi‑attorney or high‑volume practice
Proven ability to mentor and lead legal teams
Deep understanding of family-based, employment-based, asylum, removal defense, and waiver matters
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A calm, steady presence and ability to maintain client confidentiality
Excellent communication, writing, and problem‑solving abilities
Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Supervisory or training experience
Proficiency with cloud-based case management systems
Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and collaboration
Compensation
Salary range $110,000 to $150,000
Performance bonuses based on KPI’s i.e.: lead conversion and case completion
