Job Summary The Sales Office Manager manages the residential sales office in a professional manner which meets or exceeds profit goals and reflects the philosophy, mission and policies of Howard Hanna. The role requires recruiting, training, motivating and retaining qualified sales agents while increasing the office’s market share. The overall mission of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services is to obtain listings on residential properties to be sold, represent individuals looking to purchase residential properties, and represent new home developments as sales agents.

Responsibilities

Recruit, motivate, train, and retain qualified and effective sales agents.

Account for day‑to‑day operational decisions and the effective sales and administrative management of the office.

Achieve operating expense and profitability goals annually.

Maintain awareness of and sensitivity to market conditions to increase market share whenever possible.

Ensure correct use of all procedures within the office and documents related to all transactions within jurisdiction.

Plan and implement office advertising strategy using company‑provided advertising venues.

Oversee and manage the activities of sales office staff, making decisions regarding hiring, training, evaluation, promotion, transfer, discipline, reward and termination in line with company policies and procedures.

Assist in achieving the goals of other departments and divisions of the Howard Hanna companies.

Participate in community activities as appropriate.

Attend manager meetings and other company‑sponsored events as required.

Represent the company in a professional manner through appearance, attire, attitude and demeanor.

Perform other activities as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Real Estate License required; Brokerage License is a plus.

Experience managing real estate brokerage offices.

Proven record of growing top and bottom line revenue regardless of market conditions.

Proven record of productive recruiting.

Proven record of high retention under leadership.

Visionary, passionate, and enthusiastic with strong brand story‑telling ability.
