The primary purpose of the Sr. Life Enrichment Advocate is to assess the recreation and leisure needs of residents, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of services provided at Wegman Care Center. The Sr. Life Enrichment Advocate will be required to inspire and empower all staff, particularly direct care staff in meeting the leisure needs of residents, and assist them in planning such activities.
St. Ann’s Community Offers:
Pay range - $19.65 - $24./hr.

Job Description:
Completes resident assessment and as a member of the IDT team develops Comprehensive Care Plan for each individual
Assesses the strengths, interests, cultural preferences, and/or limitations of each resident as it relates to their recreation and leisure interests
Implements individual treatment plans that promote maximum resident well‑being
Provides ongoing recreation therapy for residents adhering to regulatory and professional standards of Therapeutic Recreation; NCTRC.
Serves as life enrichment ambassador to staff of WCC
Provides meal assistance through breakfast meal preparation and delivery
Maintains timely documentation of events and all required paperwork including but not limited to MDS, CAAS
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from 4 years college or university in the field of Therapeutic recreation or related area with Geriatric experience
Certified Therapeutic recreation specialist - preferred
CPR certified - preferred
