The Sr Director of National Accounts, Cleanroom, leads and manages a team of Cleanroom National Account Managers to create, build, and maintain positive business relationships with existing and new Vestis clients. The position will develop and implement activity requirements and strategies to grow and retain the portfolio of accounts through pro‑active account management, renewal efforts, and financial analytics. The Sr. Director will ensure National Account Managers meet growth and retention metrics within their books of business.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Create, build, and maintain business relationships with existing and new clients.
Develop and implement strategies to grow existing national accounts.
Manage a team of professional National Account Managers to meet and exceed revenue and profit goals and provide sound account management to Vestis Cleanroom customers.
Implement key processes that improve Vestis Cleanrooms retention and growth initiatives.
Assist in the sales efforts for prospective accounts as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience managing a team of individual contributors.
Solid track record of influence and credibility within the organization.
Strong institutional knowledge of the uniform industry is a plus.
Demonstrated experience of best practices that provide excellent customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, highly organized with good time management skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Keen ability to challenge the status quo and build credible relationships internally and externally.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Experience/Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
Seven years or more of demonstrated leadership experience, including success providing customer service to regional or multiple‑location accounts in a corporate environment.
License Requirements/Certifications
Valid driver’s license.
Working Environment/Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements
Willing to travel, including some overnight travel.
