The sales representative is responsible for driving sales to new and/or existing customers through telephone contact (80%) or face‑to‑face (20%) to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.
Location and Schedule This position is hybrid in Vernon Hills, Illinois or San Diego, California – four days per week, with business hours designed to support Pacific Coast customers.
Major Job Responsibilities
Manage, prospect, and build relationships within an assigned territory to increase revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Focus areas include driving new business and increasing penetration in existing accounts, including the sale of medical supplies and devices with a medium‑length sales cycle.
Manage the sales pipeline and monthly forecast of the business.
Present quarterly business updates to the executive leadership team.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum 2+ years of capital sales experience in out‑of‑hospital healthcare markets such as EMS and Behavioral Health Centers.
Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce.com.
Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, with strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
Consideration of future relocation opportunities for growth into field sales across the country.
Availability to work 10 am–6 pm CST.
Preferred Qualifications
1–3 years of sales experience in capital sales within the out‑of‑hospital healthcare markets such as EMS and Behavioral Health Centers.
