Food Service Director
to lead a large-scale dining operation in a highly regarded long-term care environment located in Manhattan’s Upper West Side.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a well-established operation with strong leadership support, excellent resources, and a culture that values quality, consistency, and resident satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing Lead, schedule, and supervise food service staff Oversee ordering, inventory, and food safety compliance Ensure meals meet therapeutic and dietary standards Inspect resident trays for accuracy and quality Coordinate food service for special events Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and storage areas Train and onboard new team members Step in on the tray line when needed
✅ What We’re Looking For CDM certification required Food service leadership experience in
long-term care or healthcare settings Strong knowledge of large-scale and therapeutic food preparation Solid leadership, communication, and team-building skills High school diploma or equivalent ServSafe or similar certification preferred
