Position Overview
Be a dynamic role supporting both front office operations and housekeeping services. This position will flex between departments based on needs, ensuring exceptional guest experience through professional service and responsiveness. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding Scouting's values.
Key Responsibilities
Manage front desk operations, check-ins/outs, and reservation systems with accuracy and efficiency.
Deliver professional, friendly service; resolve guest issues promptly and follow up for satisfaction.
Maintain clean, safe common areas and guest rooms using standard cleaning procedures.
Restock cleaning supplies, tools, and restroom essentials as needed.
Prioritize and complete cleaning tasks using property management system and turnover schedules.
Regular verification and checks on maintenance and safety hazards.
Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications
Minimum age: 18+
Required: Proficient computer skills. (Word, Excel, POS systems, reservation software)
Preferred: Experience in hospitality field
Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills; must be a self-starter
Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
Physical & Practical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines
Housing : 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp |
