Position Overview The VP of Product Management is responsible for the overall product strategy and execution of residential loan products, focusing on innovation, competitive market positioning, and customer experience. This position ensures that products align with the Company’s goals and manages the product lifecycle.

Ideal candidates for this position have experience with developing residential loan products, have great relationships with agencies and investors, and know how to successfully launch products with sales teams.

Essential Functions of the Role

Develop and execute the Company’s product strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives and market trends.

Identify and pursue new product opportunities, with innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

Perform market research and analysis, margin analysis, as well as utilize feedback from sales partners to understand market dynamics and inform product decisions.

Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, technology and compliance to ensure product and strategy alignment.

Oversee the development of new products from requirements and testing to implementation and training.

Ensure that existing products are maintained and updated in accordance with changes to programs and guidelines so as to stay competitive.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of seven years of residential loan product development required, with a minimum of two years in a senior product manager, AVP or VP role.

Experience as a mortgage loan originator or mortgage processing/closing experience preferred.

Experience with Encompass preferred.

Education/Licensing Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Working Conditions

Fast-paced environment.

Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.

Requires sitting, bending.

Works effectively with frequent interruptions.

Lifting requirements of 10 lbs. occasionally.
