Government and Public Sector – Technology Consulting – Digital Engineering – Microsoft Platforms Senior Developer The Government & Public Sector practice delivers consulting and audit services to Federal, State, Local and Education clients, enabling them to achieve mission outcomes such as public safety, healthcare and essential services.

The opportunity Our Digital Engineering practice builds innovative digital experiences for U.S. government agencies. You will advise on digital strategy, customer experience, process improvement, technology effectiveness, digital architecture and program integration.

Your key responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.

Design and develop functional and user‑friendly interfaces.

Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications that support business objectives.

Translate requirements into technical design and tasks.

Communicate effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders and executives.

Estimate assigned tasks.

Write quality, scalable code independently.

Analyze and fix moderate to complex problems during development and support.

Participate in white‑boarding sessions and process improvement initiatives.

Learn new client data, data modeling, process modeling and revision control systems.

Apply agile delivery and development methodologies.

Use application development tools and apply quality assurance practices.

Skills and attributes for success

Experience gathering and analyzing requirements.

Experience designing and developing user interfaces.

Ability to design software components.

Strong communication with teams, clients and stakeholders.

Proficient in writing quality code.

Rapid learning of new client systems, data, and modeling.

Strong understanding of agile methodologies.

Proficient in application development tools and QA practices.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor’s degree.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Experience with Microsoft Power Pages (Portals) and Liquid.

Extensive knowledge of C#, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML.

Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks such as React or Angular.

Experience integrating with external systems.

5+ years of relevant total experience.

Comfort working in‑person as needed.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Expertise in developing written and visual communication products.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to collaborate with clients and identify engagement follow‑on opportunities.
