A leading academic medical center in Los Angeles is excited to welcome a Medical Director for their Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. This person will lead a Level 4 Epilepsy Center with a team of three existing epileptologists and a dedicated PA.
They are host to an Epilepsy Care Consortium, a living laboratory integrating epilepsy care through a network of 10 comprehensive epilepsy centers throughout Central and Southern California. The goal is to make it possible for patients of all socio-economic backgrounds to have access to the highest levels of epilepsy care, close to home.
Position Highlights: - Extensive opportunities for teaching neurology residents and epilepsy fellows - Support for research interests, especially translational research - Various leadership roles and responsibilities available - Shared epilepsy and EMU call - Remote ICU EEG reading capabilities - Clinical mix of inpatient and outpatient care related to epilepsy and surgical epilepsy patients
