NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a
Funeral Arranger
to join our team at Hawaiian Memorial Park. United by a common desire to serve, Funeral Arrangers at NorthStar share a pride in their profession that extends beyond the workday. The Funeral Arranger is responsible for providing a source of support, guidance, and direction to families before, during and after the loss of a loved one. This position also manages all phases of the funeral arrangement including the removal of the deceased, selecting and setting up funeral services to final disposition.
Responsibilities
Arrange and assist with funeral and memorial services for families
Prepare the memorial area for the family before the services start
Maintain reverence and respect for the deceased at all times
Ensure that all federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry are followed
Qualifications
A caring heart, and a passion for helping the community in need
1+ year of funeral industry experience preferred, but not required. We will train the right person.
Professional communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive situations in a professional manner
Compensation
$19-23/hr.
